Launching in 2026, this wood-fired steam-powered vessel blends authentic heritage with modern comfort, delivering an immersive journey through one of Australia’s most iconic waterways.
PS Australian Star features beautifully appointed cabins, elegant dining and lounge spaces, and open decks designed to maximise the ever-changing river scenery. Powered by a working steam engine and paddlewheel, the ship moves at a gentle pace that reflects the rhythm and history of river travel.
With just 19 cabins onboard, PS Australian Star offers an intimate, boutique-style experience, combining regional storytelling, locally inspired cuisine, and guided shore excursions along the Murray River.
