Holland America Line (HAL) is one of the oldest cruise lines in the world. Founded in 1873 with ships sailing to and from the Netherlands, China, Indonesia, and South America, HAL has gone on to become one of the most popular global ocean holiday brands.

Each passenger is allowed two bags, with a maximum combined weight of 50 lbs per person.

Is there an age limit for passengers travelling on Holland America cruises?

Yes, passengers must be at least 21 years old in order to travel alone on a Holland America cruise. Any passengers under 21 must have a parent or guardian travelling with them.

Is there Internet access available while sailing with Holland America Cruise line?

Yes! Guests can access Wi-Fi while sailing in designated areas aboard the ship, or purchase one of our several internet packages to stay connected during their cruise vacation.

Are gratuities included in the cost of the cruise package?

Gratuities are not included in the onboard rate, but guests may choose to pre-pay gratuities with their reservation or add them during their lunch account setup onboard following embarkation if desired.
